Matthew Wrigley wins this year’s Presidents’ Award

21 October 2014

We are delighted to share the news that Matthew Wrigley received the Presidents' Award at the Yorkshire Legal Awards.

The Yorkshire Legal Awards were held in the presence of 500 lawyers at New Dock Hall in Leeds.  Organised by Barker Brooks Communications, publishers of Leeds & Yorkshire Lawyer magazine, The Yorkshire Legal Awards bring together this region’s legal community to recognise and celebrate its myriad achievements.

The President's Award is a prestigious award to a leading lawyer for contribution towards the legal landscape in the county, selected by the awards committee.

Paul Nash, Managing Partner at Wrigleys said:  “This is a marvellous recognition for Matthew and well deserved for his truly inspired creation of one of the first firms in the country to specialise in private client work, and his subsequent leadership which has seen the firm become pre-eminent in its field”.
