Community-led housing virtual social

Thursday 20th May, 2021 |
This social has taken place.

Free to attend

Join us on Thursday 20 May  for our latest virtual community-led housing social.  As well as offering groups a chance to chat to each other in an informal environment, we’ll be joined by representatives from two existing CLH groups who will talk through the challenges they’ve faced at pre-development and development stages of their project:

  • Holme House Farm is a rural cohousing scheme in Cumbria, being developed by our own Laura Moss, a partner in our CLH team.  They’ve just received planning permission after over a year of waiting.  She’ll talk through some of the pre-development challenges the group have faced.
  • Chapeltown Cohousing is a mixed tenure cohousing scheme in inner city Leeds.  They’ll explain how they have overcome various obstacles during the development stage of their project, not least how they coped when, mid-development, their main developer went into administration.

It would be lovely to see you there.  Register in advance using the link below.
