St George's Crypt, Leeds is one of the best known charities addressing the issues relating to homelessness in Yorkshire and has been working in the sector for almost 90 years.
 
In 2015, the trustees adopted an ambitious plan to develop the pathway of support the Crypt could provide, and launched a capital fundraising programme for over £5m. This sum was to be used to develop two new properties to cater for the people the Crypt seeks to work with.
 
This seminar will involve representatives of the Crypt senior management team, trustees and legal advisers to highlight some of the issues that arose with the fundraising programme and how these were overcome. It is intended to be an interactive session with attendees with plenty of opportunity for questions.
